This bearded war axe is an absolute beast! I made it out of A36 steel, but I did add some Cherry Red which adds a little more carbon to the cutting edge. The wrap on the handle is genuine leather. I also will be adding my makers mark to all of the blades from this point on. The overall length of the war axe is 16 inches and 1/4" thick. The head is 5 1/2" wide and 6 3/4" long. The useable part of the handle is 11" long and 2" wide. As always, it will come exactly as pictured and sharpened. Thank you!
